Hello all,

I currently keep a pair of wood ducks in with my call ducks. I wss hopping to get them to breed this year and have noticed some eggs being laid in their nest boxes.

Just wanted to ask if wood duck eggs are thiner and slightly longer than the usual duck egg. If so then I think I'm having success.

Thanks for the help.

Normal egg on left, new one on the right

Actually, wood duck eggs tend to be rounder, the egg on the left looks more like a wood duck egg.

I agree with Clint that a woodie egg is round and I think about golf ball size and definitely buff in color!
