A family member just had to re-home their birds, and I offered to take them in. They were bought as chickens, but my husband noted that they look sort of like pheasants. They are very small compared to our other chickens that are the same age, and their legs seem to be a lot thinner. I just want to confirm if they are chickens, and if yes, what breed they possibly are. They are almost 4 months old, if that’s any help!

Those are indeed chickens. Better picture for clear identification of breed. The first look like either a Cream Legbar, or maybe some Cream Legbar/EE cross.

Thank you, everyone. Here is a better picture. I tried a reverse google image search and Cream Legbar is what I saw as well. I plan on taking extra measures with them before introducing them to the rest of my flock, both in making sure they are healthy, as well as well nourished.
