It’s my first time incubating and I’m using eggs from my very own flock to do this. Downside is that my eggs shells are kind of dark making candling difficult.
I was messing with the eggs today and decided to go back and candle a few I did early on.
I think I see a blood ring in one of the eggs now but I don’t know for sure and don’t want to throw it out it I’m wrong.
What happens if you continue to incubate an egg with a blood ring?
Can you tell from these pictures if I’m right or not?

I'd leave it a couple of days then check again. The ring will start to break up and disappear if it is an early quitter. Don't remove it until you are sure.

It already seems a bit different when compared to how the others are developing, but then again it’s difficult to actually see the veins in any of them. I’ll give it a few days and compare it to the pictures I took today.

Today will be day 9 of incubation, I first looked at day 4 and thought I saw some good development. I don’t really see that anymore.
How long can I leave it in there if it is an early quitter?

It is really hard to tell from the picture. Could you shine the light from the top, it would be a lot easier to see?

In a few days you should see a significant difference between this egg and your other eggs if it has quit. Your other eggs will have the dark blob of the developing chick, whereas, if this one has quit, it will go back to looking like a 'clear'/undeveloped egg.
