Identifying Blue or Lavender Chicks

Actually I just hatched some chicks that sound just like those, yellow/orange with a patch of light blue/Grey on backs. They came from a buff/orange cochin roo with porcelain belgian bearded d'uccle hens -all bantams.

It's looking like the best bet with this chick will be just waiting and watching. It's interesting to watch her change every few days. She's now developing a large group of tail feathers. My wife said it looks like someone stuck a cottonball to her butt.

So my update is she is becoming less and less of a lavender/blue and more and more white and tan. Her wings have become a beige color and she has developed a cottonball tail. She does in fact have 5 toes and 1 toe on each side seems to almost be a little half toe growing off the side of another toe. So she is definitely silkie something....

Well i have determined she is definitely becoming a porcelain silkie mix. She's getting more fluffy on the body, standard feathered wings and light beige patches mixed in with the white.
