Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I sold a couple of hens (and my cranky roo) on Craigs List and now just have six-hens-a-laying. This has prompted me to try to identify which hen lays which egg now that I can tell my two remaining Silver Spangled Hamburgs apart. FYI, "Righty" is a Hamburg whose tail leans to the right so naturally the other hen had to be "Tighty".
