Identifying werk old buff and sapphire splash

I need help identifying the gender of these chicks, buff orpington as well as a saphire splash

Far too early to tell.

Maybe wait until they are 6 - 8 weeks old, at the moment it would be very difficult to tell , but at 6 - 8 weeks old males will start to develop pink / red combs and wattles .

It's still too early to tell. I don't have a Buff Orpington, but I do have BBS Orpingtons. I was able to tell my male between 2 and 3 weeks of age. His comb was getting bigger than the 2 females' were, and he started growing wattles. Hopefully your Buff will mature along the same timeline. As for the other one, I don't know anything about them. They're adorable though! Good luck with them!
