I came home from college this afternoon and found this little guy/girl at the park. The beak and head make me think it's a muscovy, but he/she is completely lacking any red caruncles on its face. Anyone have any suggestions as to whether this is an immature muscovy or a mule/hinnie duck? It chirped a couple times and it sounded like a female muscovy, but the big male muscovy at the park doesn't seem to show it any attention, but I don't know how long it's been there so the old male may have already dominated it and moved on. Again, any input would be nice. I'm just curious.
