If a broody hen hatches chicks...

Do I need to do anything special to take care of them? Add starter feed? Get a smaller waterer? Or does momma hen do all that?
When our broody hen hatched her chicks, we added some starter feed in there and mama hen taught them how to eat it. For a water-er we just used a little plastic tupperware and the hen taught them how to drink out of it too!

Yeah, they need starter food and water they can reach. I separate mine from the flock for the first few days so they have everything close by. After they're all eating and drinking well, if momma wants to take them outside or back in the area with the other birds, I let her. I just keep moving the chick food and water to wherever she has them so they can reach it.

I'm so glad you posted this!!

I'm out of chick starter. Chicks hatched today. They are on my porch. What can I offer them until I can get to the feed store?

I'm not an expert obviously, but I'd feed them whatever you have for the adults until you can get starter feed. Maybe a scrambled egg would be good to add, but again, I'm not experienced in chicks at all yet lol
