If a duck flips on it's back

Can it not right itself? We had Ducky (2 week old Peking) flip herself over onto her back and just screamed and scream, kicking her feet, until I flipped her over correctly. If this happens while we are at work, she'd eventually figure it out, right? I'd like to think so since I don't see wild ducks dead on their back from starvation..
 
Usually they can right themselves, BUT, I've heard of some of the Call ducklings(short, short legs, teeny wings and kinda pudgy bodies) dying because they can't flip themselves back over.
Give ducky something it can get up against to get some leverage in case it flips again.
