If I could do it over -Tips for 1st time geese

I'd not have gotten them, but the only way to find out was to get them and live with them for a while. Geese are wonderful animals, but for me, No, thanks.

Meanwhile, the same's happened with chickens and I find I like them - even when they crow at all hours, about 10 feet from my pillow.

I would have gotten more than two! I lost one and scrambled (late in the season) to find a companion for a peeping lonely gosling; ended up with a pekin duck. My humble opinion would be to go with at least three if you can.

Have more goslings in the immediate future but now I need to find the duck a great home.
