if i dont have a nest for my pen hen where will she lay

Yep last year our peahen just scratched out a small depression and laid her eggs there. They just find a place in the pen and make a nest.

You can try making A frames and putting lean-tos against a wall, maybe they will choose those.. maybe not.

Nest sites seemed to have one thing in common- next to something large- a boulder, a thick log, a fence with weeds climbing up it...
