Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. X2 on Mountain Peeps. All of those breeds (EEs are actually hybrids and not a true breed) are very cold hardy and will do well in Wyoming winters. The very first breed that I ever had were Brahmas (about 50 years ago), and they were gentle giants. I've raised Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, and Easter Eggers for years and still have some of each in my flock. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed. They are extremely hardy in both cold and heat, are calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of both the Australorps and the Orpingtons), and they are the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds, laying well even in the winter. Our EEs are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorites. She loves their colored eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Whatever breeds you end up getting, good luck with your flock.
