"What way do we travel first?" He looked at her shyly. His back fur pricked and he forced it down.
"We head for the border stream with Windclan." She mewed, and not waiting for an answer, glanced at him competitively, before racing off, and for a moment closed her eyes and let her senses guide her, letting the wind cool her fur and calm her. She was happy, happy to just be with Shadowstorm.

Shadowstorm ran after her and let the wind flow through his fur. he loved this.... and her. He felt himself brush past the trees with ease and fell in next to her. "This is fun, do I go into the Moonpool with you or wait outside?" He asked breathlessly.

She slowed to a trot. "Wait on the rise outside that surrounds the Moonpool. It will be nice having someone there to protect me." She mewed, and immediately part of her regretted her word choice. You're a medicine cat! But still, she felt she couldn't have said it in any other way.

"I'm glad, there were SEVEN badgers, the clan couldn't afford to lose you." Neither could I...

She cast him a loving glance. "I wish I could give the clan my full attention right now." She sighed. "But I'm confused and distracted with other things." The prophecy.....and you.

How much longer can we live like this? She felt awful for thinking it, because if they couldn't...... "What's it like? Being a warrior. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out." Peacecry mewed.

“The life of a warrior is hunting and fighting. We work hard everyday. Queens can have kits and toms are relied on for hunting for their girl.” He regretted that list bit, but it was true. “I enjoy it, you might to...”
