So, i was out at a championship basketball game last night, didnt get home and in bed till 12ish. SO I am quite tickled you could say when my dad comes running into my room there is something HUGE and white in the front yard! I told him it was probably pigeon - my missing scovie hen.

He says "No, This thing is HUGE!" so I get up, all excited now and start running to the kitchen. I told him if its a goose im keeping it! and he said YES! So ... I get to the kitchen....

I open the window....

Glance out...

And yes, there is a HUGE bird outside....

But its my Fat Homronal 6 month old white scovy drake, Goonie.

So Now Im dissappointed because I hoped it was a goose and instead its my Fattie.

So why did your dad want you up & out of bed so bright and early after a late night?

He didnt know that the Fattie was Goonie Bear. I guess Goonie realized if he used thse hunky wings he could fly out of the pen, lol.

GW,
I was awakened the other morning to the banging/scratching kind of noise(I really don't know how to describe it). I got up and went outside to see what was going on..I could not see anything and the noise had stopped. Ummm, what is going on... I walked around a little bit and then decide to go back inside because I could not find out what had made the noise. I happened to look at a old plastic garbage can that had been crushed in the middle...and there was my noise maker, one of my white scovy hens was inside the barrel...LOL She was being very quite and just looking at me say '' What''. I then thought oh she must have a nest in there.

Later I went back to check on her and she was out of the drum. I carefully looked inside expecting to see a few eggs...but NO. I guess she was just being a nosey butt or want to make some noise getting in that barrel.

I wish my scovie girl would at least get an egg belly! Ive got the three hens ( one white and two choco pied ) and only one is laying! But they were all at the neighbors pond so Im hoping the wild black scovie has been visiting them since the one white scovie drake i kept - the brat that this thread is about- only likes my non scovie gals! So rude of him.

Ducks are just some of the funniest characters to ever waddle this earth. My Sports coach was just shocked when I told her that yes, ducks have their own personalities.
