If she was your dog, wwyd?

I think I saw another post in this forum about some one lookin for a Pom for her daughter... Maybe someone else saw it? How cool would it be if you guys worked something out so your Pom had a great home with some BYC'ers who happen to be looking for a Pom?!?!?! Dang, I wish I could find that post.... it wasnt too long ago, it was about looking for a dog not from a backyard breeder.

Extreme weather is not good for any dog, especially a small breed with a heavy coat. Please help her out and give her a good life with soemone who will see her more.

Good Luck and I hope it all works out.

She's a chicken killer, I wouldn't put someone with poultry or small animals (cats, rabbits anything besides dogs) in that position because allthough you say it's okay if she chases them, I know it won't be when you see her holding your favorite chicken in her mouth.

Don't poms have long hair? I would have to agree with the others about finding her a new home.Maybe you could find a rescue organization that would be able to take her or at least help you. With her being a small dog it wouldn't be very hard to find her a new home. Good luck!

We already know who'd she go to if we have to rehome her, we just really want it to work. I just wanted other's opinions.

I have a Pom. They are companion dogs. They NEED someone with them. I know that it will be incredibly difficult, but unless you can take her, you should really rehome her.

My Pom was initially very hungry for what he assumed were his feathered snacks, but seems to have calmed since they recently went to live in the coop. I would not however trust him with them unsupervised, and I mean CLOSELY supervised.

I think that is partly my fault. We have always encouraged him chasing the crows out of the garden and I don't think he's made the distinction between the good feathered things and the bad.

Good luck rehoming. They are great dogs.

Seems like you know what needs to be done

You can do it, it will be hard. Just think about how good you will feel when you see pictures of her happy and healthy in her new home

Loving someone or something means doing what is best for them. Even if it requires everything in you to do it.

I am sorry to hear you have to make this decision but please rehome her to the people that have the time for her.
