if there's a tiny bit of peeping, and then nothing, does that mean it drowned?

at 8:30 this morning, and intermittently for about another hour, we heard faint peeps out of one or more of our three eggs. Nothing lately. Are we doomed? WAHHH.

Not doomed at all.

A normal progression it to see a small pip, them not much progress, possibly a few cheeps, but mostly a rest period.

Followed 12-24 hours later by a zipping period where it is game time.

Relax for a while yet.

oh thank you, thank you for that. so I don't have to camp out in the bathroom with a romance novel, sitting next to the incubator going "come on chickies, come on chickies?" that's good, my butt was getting sore from sitting on the floor.

we haven't seen any pips yet. a few cheeps. no pips.
