if they're not fertile now, will they ever be?

We have two ducks and a drake. They've been laying for several weeks now. Will the eggs ever be fertile?

Is he mating them? If he is then they should be fertile.

Yea, they will be fertile. Sometimes it takes a while for the drake to get mating down and to get his "stuff" in the hens.

I haven't seen him at it...but I check the eggs when we eat them.
No bull's eye.

Pretty sure. I know between chicken and duck eggs. I had AngieChick test hatch some, but they turned otu clear.

Did you turn the eggs over and look at the whole end? Sometimes the bulls eye is on the bottom. My DD found ours when I thought they weren't fertile either.

the ducks are close to 9 months old. I've found the spot, but it was just a spot.
