The heat here is starting to make water lines break. If you have outdoor animals/birds, you might want to store up some water for them. It would be horrible for them to run out and then you have to go up to store to get more....

Thanks, that's not a bad idea! I'm NW of Houston in Bellville, near Brenham. Hot as H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks out here too. Luckily I've got two sources of water... city water to the house and a well for outdoor use. I've got a pond too, but the heat and lack of rain is really making it stagnant. Not sure I'd give that to the birds, dog, cat.
