IF YOU BELIEVE IN REINCARNATION / Can dogs be reincarnated?

i belive in reincarnation
i belive animals have souls

i do belive however that dogs are a more "perfect" being over all than humans and learn the ultimate lesson sooner than we do and therefore can CHOOSE to come back.

i also see animals as our teachers and feel dogs are here to pretty much teach us uncnditional love!

I think any animal that has been a loved and honored companion feels this is paradise, and they come back to be with us if they can.

I knew my Scooter-cat in his former life as White Fang. And I know I will see him again one day.

I spent last night trying to remember where I read this particular legend and I believe it was in a book called A Big Little Life by Dean Koontz. In the book Koontz talks about meeting a wise old indian man that tells him his belief that when a person has lived a near perfect life, but dies before it can be truly perfected they come back as a dog. As a dog they are given the chance and have the capabilities necessary to live a perfect life. Once completed, they go on to their reward. If they don't succeed in their first dog life, they keep coming back as a dog until they do.
After reading that, I knew without a doubt that my Charlie Girl had gone on to her reward after we lost her last June, because she was undoubtably the most perfect and loving soul I have ever known.

I also belive they are here to heal us also. We dont choose them they choose us.

I understand if some people do not believe me but I can see spirits. Good and bad. So can my mom. I had a BR hen that was only 2 months old. She dissapeared one day when I let them out free ranging. After a couple days I knew she was dead. Then that same day I was sitting on my living room couch crying because she was gone. Then on the outside of our sliding glass door I saw a small black figure. It was in the shape of a chicken and then I said, "Shadow". This was no dream. So I think if a chicken's sould will come back a dog's will too.
