If you can see an air pocket when candling, is there possibly an embryo developing?

Yesterday (last night) I put six fertilised eggs in an incubator (well, propagator) and I know it is probably a lot too early but I am exited, anyway, I could see a large dark part and then the egg liquid underneath it and then on top of the dark patch seemed to be an air pocket. Does this mean that there is development inside the egg? I appreciate any answers and any extra advice will certainly be taken on board as I am I first timer at this, thanks

Hi Shannon. go to the learning center. Under the chick section, look for Hatching Eggs 101. It will have lots of neat pictures, and plenty of information to answer lots of questions that you didn't even know you had.

Hi @lazy gardener

I will take a look at that now, thank you very much for your help
