Silkies are so quirky, you have all the color combinations, they're easier to contain, but take aaaageees to sex if they're good quality.

But with australorp, you'll have all the eggs!

Silkies, d'uccles or wyandottes

I thought I would never have bantams, however I ended up taking in a bantam hen and her one chick from someones garden 2 days before Ida hit. They were wild and the lady was concerned about what would happen to them during the storm. The chick is getting "big" but I am not sure what breed either one of them is. I will try to get pictures and hopefully someone will have some idea of what breed or breeds their DNA might include.
