If you had a duck with a crack in the bottom of her foot............

What is neoprene?

I give all the birds about 140mg of Brewer's Yeast in their water daily. Holderread suggests 100-150mg, so I seem pretty good there.

It is rather hard at times to tell just what a swelling is or isn't. I mean, the fleshy parts underneath the joints in the toes are naturally 'larger'; and if they get callouses on them, they could look like something problematic.

I AM GOING TO START A THREAD--AND HOPEFULLY CAN GET SOME CONTRIBUTORS--ABOUT PHOTOS OF THE UNDERSIDE OF YOUR DUCKS' FEET.

I want to see what callouses look like! Many of my birds have rather callous-looking circular dark patches under the joints of their middle toes. I DO NOT think that is bumble foot (cuz these birds race all over!)

Anyway, tx to you all, and I hope to lure some pictures of ducks' underfeet!!

neoprene is like wet suit material, it washes easy and dries pretty quick. It helps keep moisture out of the wounds too. My ducky ming mei has been wearing her shoes all day and even went for a walk outside in the park.
