I have answered on many forms and i realized something. Many people post questions and wait for answers, but i thought maybe the questions should come to the answers!

I will be happy to answer any questions. you can pm me or post questions! i will try to answer them all.

i only have chickens and i have never incubated so i cant help with that. other than that i can probably help. :) I know i am a first-time chicken owner, but i have researched chickens for years.

People who dont have questions are welcome to answer with me, thanks.

please i will be happy to answer so dont be afraid!!!!

Is it ok to have them in their brooder at this size? The'll be moving to the coop by Sunday. The coop is nearly done (I know, it should have already been done but hindsight and all that). They get along well with each other, no pecking.

Thanks in advance!

First thanks for replying!

the brooder does look small. i can completely relate to your problem though. only 3 days ago did we finally get our chickens into their coop. They were 3 months old and living in a small space because it wasn't ready.

if they are supposed to be in a coop (they are old enough, and it is rather warm) then you can put them outside for like an hour. if you have a fenced in yard that would be perfect! or you could let them free roam. :)

Thanks again for replying, if you still have questions, just ask!!!!

They don't need the heat lamp. They are fine at 80 and below even without their feathers usually and once feathered out like these guys look to be, they don't need extra heat.

Thanks! I figured as much but let him have his way. I'll switch it off before I leave for work. I'll talk to dh too.
