If you process, what do you do with the parts you don't want?

I keep several bait piles going all year far enough away form the birds for them to draw preds. The reason for the bait piles is so I will know where the preds are opening day of trapping season.

Well we processed today, and we took all of our entrails put them into a bucket and carried them about 1/4 mile away to the dry creek bed. We put ALL dead chickens, entrails, anything that may attract a predator down in the creek bed, and we've never had any problems with coyotes. The crows really like them too! If there are crows around I'm rest assured there are no red tail hawks, lol.

If its edible the cats get it... they always sit and watch us process anyways because they know someone will get a liver or a leg if they are quick. Everything else goes to the dump. We don't want to attract anything, and our compost is too small!
