Speak up now. Hatched from blue eggs. No way am I keeping the 50% that are male. My favourite and naturally the best of the bunch is staying, but everything from choice #2 on down the line is up for grabs. I have no extra hens to give with these sorry. They are young (5wks) and of good quality from show lines muffs/ beards etc. Since I am in the middle of nowhere I will make arrangements to meet you somewhere reasonably convenient if you want one or two.
Absolutely free of course since they would be going to freezer camp otherwise.

OH too bad. I wish you were closer too. I have had birds shipped to me and I have to say he wouldn't be worth what you would have to pay even if I just charged you what it would cost to send him.

I am out on the San Juan Islands, but since I have to take a ferry over ocassionally I would be willing to meet up anywhere from about North Seattle to Bellingham, to Oak Harbor, to Port Townsend. Nothing is available out here, so I just go over every once and awhile and shop. Often it is Home Depot stuff or whatever that I need. Once you have to stick to our sparse ferry schedule, and wait an hour in line each direction, you have a day trip on your hands anyway. Driving an extra hour one way or another, and shopping in one spot vs. another isn't a very big deal. Anacortes is the nearest "mainland town".

Of course the islands make a lovely day trip also,

if someone felt like driving this direction.
