if you were to completely restart your flock what would you get?

I would have mostly brahmas! There so pretty and there eggs aren't bad...what would you have a majority of?

I'm not sure. I think that I would have a large flock with a bunch of different breeds in it. I like a variety of breeds--they all have their own personalities and good qualities!

I would repeat exactly what I did the first time - 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Buff Orpingtons. I absolutely adore them. The reds are noisy and pushy but don't mind being picked up (much). They are the ones that follow me through the yard. The buffs are more timid, quiet, and hate being picked up. But I love their fluffy butts.

I would of gotten a rooster for my crazy white leghorn much sooner she's out there but he seems to make a big difference for her she even started to predictably lay. I also would have got more barred rocks the first time I got chicks when I decided to do chickens again.
