I forgot to mention that I use sweet PDZ, in my roosting area. Makes that a breeze to clean. Also sprinkle over the sand in the pen about twice a month. My chickens love it. I currently have 13 hens, 3 roosters and 2 ducks, and 5 dogs. My little 3 pound Chihuahua thinks that it is his job to guard the chickens - so funny they are all bigger than he is!!
