I threw clothes in and turned it on and heard a clunk, clunk, clunk, it went around three times before I hurried to turn it off, when I opend the door my jaw hit the floor as my dazed and confused kitten looked at me. Apparently he was napping in my dryer, thank God I checked it or I would have been devestated as my family adores the little guy! I can say that I will never look at my dryer the same... My cat probably won't either.

OOOO the memories!! I did that to a cat when I was 16 and the outcome was not as good!

I felt sooo bad, poor kitty! I have always checked since that awful day.

Once, I started the dishwasher with my kitten in it!

When I was loading it, she was so curious and trying to get into everything. I just kept picking her up and setting her on the floor. A few minutes later I finished loading it and started the dishwasher. I made myself a small bowl of ice cream before bed and sat down at the kitchen table to enjoy it.

A minute later I heard a muffled, very pitiful, "Meow..."
Where's that coming from? Look around for the kitten...
"Meow..."
What the heck?
"Meow..."
No, couldn't be
"Meow..."

She was in the dishwasher, standing among all the dishes, soaking wet and very pathetic!

She was just fine and is now a 7 year old cat. I was so glad I took a quiet moment before bed to have a bowl of ice cream or I never would've heard her. That would've been very tramatic! Since it has a happy ending, now it's just funny!

Debi is a witch.
My brother put alive bullet in his pants pocket and then put his clothes thru the washer and then the dryer thankfullly my mom heard the clunking after a few minutes.

My booger cat once was so enthralled by the smell of roasting chicken, as soon as I opened the oven door, in he went. Needless to say 1 second later he came out screaming. Shocked all of us, forgot about the chicken, chased the cat and savled his paws and nurtured him for about an hour.

Then we remembered dinner.

Reminds me of a kitten I had years ago. She got a case of the crazies running around the living room, then jumped into the middle of the burning fireplace. Came out in about 1/4 of a second amid a shower of sparks. Amazingly not a single burn. The same cat a couple years later snuck into the fridge and got shut in for several hours.

Imp- I got stuck in an elevator once, when I used the emergency phone the people answering didn't believe me and wouldn't send help.
