if you've used a chicken nipple water system (what style) and how to you clean them?

Can ducks use the horizontal chicken nipples like the vertical ones? i know ducks still need to dunk there bill and head in water but its nice to know that they can get clean water to drink when they want too. Since they usually muddy their water bowls pretty quickly.

Thats what I thought....guess I need to decide if we're going to have ducks again in the near future.

Actually.....ducks WILL!!! They still need a pan every so often to bathe and clean their nostrils, but my ducks use the horizontal nipple drinker I have out for my chicken/turkey grow out birds all the time.

I don't have a picture of the one i made but this is the same one. it is one you can make out of nipplers and a 2 gallon bucket. good luck.
