I'll ask again, wheat germ oil

I was wondering how much wheat germ oil should I give my chickens? I have 25 18 week olds, (one that seems anemic) they are on layer mix right now but after reading so many post about sick chickens and giving them vit. I thought I might as well just add to their food from the get go. My question is how much to add.... Last time no answer, hope someone will this time. Thanks everyone. Love this place. (BYC)

Its been some time when I used wheat germ oil but think it was 1 Tablespoon full per pound of feed.. Now if you have a chicken that is anemic it isnt going to help till you treat the reason for it being anemic (worms, lice or mites)....

This isn't much of an answer, but could one just add wheat germ to the feed?

Thank you, I will just add to food, that is what I have been doing but just wanted to know if that was enough, too much, or ok. I am adding it to make sure they get their vit, as I here they don't stay in the food well. Thanks again.
