Ill hen sleeping all day

When a chicken self isolates and sleeps all day, they are very weak and it's a sign something very serious is going on. When parasites are a problem, it's also a sign the immune system is not functioning. I would suspect cancer, late stage, as a possibility.

What does her poop look like? A photo would help.

Your chicken requires special feeding, and especially fluids, as dehydration is likely a major issue. I would suggest tube feeding to get nutrients into her quickly. Find a vet who will sell you a small animal tubing kit for a few dollars, if you are in the US. I will instruct you how to do it. Also, buy some Poultry Nutri-drench and baby bird formula if you can.

Meanwhile, give the chicken one cup water with a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt and baking soda mixed in. Dip her beak to show her it's sweet and to get her started drinking it. If she is too weak to drink on her own, you need to syringe it into her crop. Do it like this.

What is your location in the world? Do you have permethrin garden dust that you could use on the chickens for lice? Treat once, and repeat that in 10 days. The coop bedding should be replaced, and permethrin spray can be used to treat the empty coop, nest boxes, and on roosts. It may not be available in some countries, but is in the US, but here we get those at Tractor Supply and other feed stores. For leg mites, petroleum jelly, castor oil, and mineral oil are all good to use, rubbing into the scales of the legs an and feet twice a week for a month or two. Then monitor the legs.

Some conditions, such as reproductive disorders, cancer, water belly/ascites, and crop disorders can cause a hen to become lethargic, lose weight, stop eating well, and separate herself. Check her crop early in the morning when it should be empty and flat or not felt. Pictures of her droppings are welcome. Watch to see that she is eating and drinking.

Hi everyone, sorry for not replying recently, I had to go away for a bit, and Kucheli seemed better so I more or less forgot about this thread. That was until this morning. I haven’t been around to observe her for the past few days but she seemed fine as I was watching them.
Then she stopped moving, began panting and sat down, pretty much crawling before being unable to move. I took her away from the other chickens and noticed she’s quite thin. She also began to push her legs out in front of her. When I lift her she’s very limp. She’s also shown no interest in eating or drinking, though she was before she collapsed. She’s currently just laying on the ground, tail down but moving her head. She’s not currently panting but I will try to get a photo and/or video of it. While she did initially push her legs in front of her, she’s kept them under since I readjusted her. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
