Fairbuy is a little south and east of me. Been there though. There's a real nice diner right on the highway if I remember right. Great Sandwiches.

Ang, do you know of their last names....I can just pass on the info to hubby to see if he knows them. His family lives there for ages and surrounding towns and his parents are still living there. He knows of several LARGE families living in Fairbury and most of them moved away when they got married or got job elsewhere. Fairbury is like a ghost town but nice friendly town. Hubby's grandfather was a mayor of Strawn at one time, dont know the details on that one.

There was a diner we visited last year right off the main drag. Good food I must say! I can not remember the name of the diner....will ask hubby on that one.
