My niece has been taking care of them for a few months so I'm not really sure what birds I had. I haven't seen them in quite a while.

All brown or blue-green egg layers, some Easter Eggers, a bunch of mutts, they were free range during the day and caged at night, not pets, not real flighty but then again I don't know how much attention they have been getting. There might be one rooster available. The roosters were not aggressive but that could have changed. I had some black birds that I never did figure out the breed. Had some Light Brahmas.

Sorry I don't have more information right now. I'm in Nevada for work. Should be home in a week or so. Not sure when the chickens are coming back home. The niece might want to keep them all.

If you get a good deal on what you want don't wait for me.

I have Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue/Black/Frizzled Mottled Cochins, Light Brahmas, Buff Brahmas, Mille Fleur Cochins, Lemon Blue Cochins, Easter Eggers, Silkies.

Mine are free range/confined, friendly pet birds, with names.

Not crazy wild chickens.

Haha I agree! Have it down here in the South.

Then people from KY, MO, IN, TN. And come too! I'm in a nice location, and I have tons of room for it.

I would love to do it here. But my farm is such a mess because we purchased an old rundown abandoned farm, and it's taking years to make it tidy again.

Maybe in a year or two.

ah well theres some things that you just cant avoid.

arent there lots of parks down by u guys that we might be able to use.

we could have a N IL and a S IL chickenstock

I guess there is. I've never lived anywhere else so I don't know how we compare to the 'outside world.' lol

I might just try and see if i can get something planned next year. That sure would be fun. I bet I could use the fairgrounds that are about 20 minutes away from me.

It would probably be best to have a northern and southern one unless you plan on having it in the central part of the state. Our state is so stinkin' long it takes a long time to get from one end to the other!

I agree! WHERE is not a problem for me--WHEN is more important. We are in training with our 3 yr old KMH gelding for the 150th CW battles, so our schedule begins in 2010 in April and ends in October. (We'll probably also be training a new horse to this as well--all of my older horses have passed on in the last year.

) BTW, I've been down to ride in Shawnee several times. It's SSSOOO much prettier than C-U, But my backyard soil is really rich, so I can't complain too much.

I would be interested in buying, and I'll take anybodys unwanted roosters off of their hands, too.
