A breeder from MN traveling to a show in IN has silkies

Hello!

My name is Danielle, I live in Chicago. This year I am in my senior thesis industrial design class, and for my project I am researching the new 'urban chicken movement' on how to raise chickens in the city.
@dhisle2 , welcome to BYC! Are you familiar with the Chicago Chickens group? Their site is http://www.chicagochickens.org/
They're also on Facebook and they have a Google group. You'll want to start with the resource guide on their website.

Anyone in the southern part of the state interested in adding some Cornish breeder birds to your operation? Whether your interest be in Cornish, or perfecting a backyard meat bird.

I recently agreed to a verbal commitment from somebody in the St. Louis area to deliver some birds for pickup at my parent's house (near Mt. Vernon), and for the 2nd weekend in a row they have not made the pickup. They will get one more chance, otherwise the birds will be sold to someone else, or butchered.

There are 2 blue laced red pullets, 2 white laced red pullets, 2 black laced red cockerels, and 2 blue laced red cockerels down there. I would be willing to knock some off the price if somebody was interested. These birds are from near the top of my genetics, so culls they are not. But, on my farm, we operate one way-- once it leaves- it does not come back.
