Glad to hear of all the sweet, fluffy, end-of-season hatches. Please keep those pics coming. (It helps me refrain from hatching our own eggs - especially now that a lav orp is laying. Roos are splits, so 50% chance of lav orps. Can't wait 'til spring!)

Last chicken hatched a bit ago. 7 out of 8, very happy. I did lend 2 to a young man with a broody silky. Hopefully he returns them in a month or so. I also ended up with a splash for once. Very happy they are done. And I will put the incubators away.

Well you can still have some of the chicks, I can't promise green eggs with speckles, but I can promise Isbars.

You gunna help my tell DH2B that he's mistaken and that they've been there all along? Lol thanks I'll start trying to talk him into it. Lol maybe I can wear him down. How much will you be wanting for them? I hate it but that will play a part I'm sorry to say. Can't pay for a wedding if all our money is spent on chickens lol and before the wedding there's debt to pay off which will be done by or before January. Stupid dog got hit by a car needed major surgery ya know things happen.

Oh my, so sorry about your dog. Hope he/she is doing better since the surgery. The chicks will be $10 each, there will be either 3 or 5. I am expecting to get the 2 chicks back I lent to the broody silky. I am going to grow them out to a month old, which will be about mid November and then if you have your DH2B talked into it, they are yours.

My daughter is also planning her wedding, and cost are outrageous! Good Luck and congrats!

The dog is fully recovered thanks for asking she has a plate in her shoulder and sometimes she's sore and stiff but she's great.
Thanks it'll be a while yet for us but we're happy and together that's what's important.
