PFF, I'll be coming for sure with at least one other person. I'll be spreading the word among some of my "chicken buddies" that aren't as big of a BYC enthusiast as I am and see who else will be up for some food and chicken talk. I'll plan on being there late morning through late afternoon on Saturday, leaving to get home and do "chicken chores". I hope more folks will be able to make it, even if for part of the day! Thanks for hosting!!

The gal from Indianna is comming with a few chicken friends perhaps but she can't stay long as she has no chicken sitter.

I have a nice guest room for anyone "on the fence" who cannot camp out for health reasons. I have another room for others - not as set up and would have to share a bathroom, for anyone else who cannot take the weather or outside. Don't be shy. We're all getting older!

This weekend is my birthday and I'm going camping for the first time since 2008 or 9! Hope it's as much fun as I remember!

Sorry to burst your bubble but with gas prices, it would not be possible for me to get away. However we are making plans to go to Dallenger Farms outside of Morris, IL for a CW reeanctment. Isn't that close enough?

I am congratulating you on making the first chicken meeting. We are still trying to get one here but not enough people interested because of date conflicts.

Pull up a chair and read thru the BYC threads, that is great way to start. If you don't find anything or having problems, just ask away and we would put you in the right place!

(blushing) Thanks you all! I didn't think I would be a chicken celebrity but I try to keep it low profile so I don't get that "do it all" thing or I'll burn out LOL!

I shall find that link for Dallenger Farms........It is in October.
