Thank you, Dawg! I appreciate the precise input! One of our girls has had bad leg mites so that may be the culprit. She's exhibiting some poopy feathers too. I will get this wormer tomorrow. Thanks again.
And Michael Apple, our girls are all 3 years of age. We are just down to 3 hens now. We have raised them since they were from 8 weeks to 10 months old so they've been with us most of their lives. Our RIR was never a great layer but she was a sweetheart. Our leghorn's production will be sorely missed. :/ We give them a tiny amount of copper sulfate in their water (we follow the dosage instructions). We will worm the whole flock tomorrow.
