. What is your setup. Do you have a brooder or a place for one if it's chicks or a coop for older ones?

Here is a great reference book, Gail Damerow's 'Storey's Guide to Chickens' is an excellent guide, as well as this web site.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting chicks, so I'm working on finishing up my brooder. I've been browsing around the brooder thread for some ideas

If you start with baby chicks you won't be sorry. You will know what I am talking about after you have watched them grow up. You will be tuned into them so to speak. You are in for some fun. Good luck, franko
