I want to know how to change the tag line under my username to "Dirty Egg Eater" because that seems to be all I ever get to eat any more are the dirty eggs.

With 14 layers I sell most of my eggs to friends and co-workers. Although most of my eggs come out clean you know there's always the couple with suspicious "skid marks" on them. I feel bad pawning them off on paying "customers" so all I ever get to eat are the poopy eggs. Bummer.

That is funny!! I wash the dirty ones so they are no longer dirty when when we eat them.

Title change - purchase a golden feather membership - look at the blue strip on the top......

I eat the dirty ones too, although I figure they're still safer than most eggs since they still have the bloom on them. Haven't been sick yet....

Guilty as well. I try to dry rub off any light dirt and if the dirt is a little more stubborn(I choose to think of it as dirt) I wash them carefully. I also keep the dirty buggers for our family and give out the clean as a whisle eggs of family and friends. Luckily I have not had any really dirty one. When we get lots of rain the girls do come in with muddy feet. Figures they ignore the mat to wipe off thier feet. However, when our chicken yard is dry? Not sure I really want to know:/

Yes, I save the dirty ones for me! I don't wash any of my eggs, just dobie scrub off the skid marks and roll on a towel to dry, no actual washing, rinsing or any of that. Chickens have been laying them that way for years, why worry now? It's been 2 years for me eating the 'dirty ones' I'm not dead yet.
