I'm a genius

It took a lot of restraint and discipline to resist the “chicken math factor”.

I started with 6 chicks, just to enjoy the experience of having and raising chicks.

Six chicks in a 64 square foot coop (expandable to 128 sf.) with a 200 square foot attached secured run (easily expandable) is pathetic…

Six laying hens easily exceed my egg expectations, but the true bounty of my coop is in the making of compost.

By maintaining a flock of around a dozen, with mixed age, I achieve all my goals.

Of course, it took advanced planning, and several years, to have the desired balance…

And I did mention a lot of restraint and discipline... chicks are too cute...:(
