Dont feel bad, I've dropped whole racks containing 8 doz eggs before..And whats so bad is, these were going into the hatcher

i figured out how to help her--somewhat... put a fake egg in her nest bow, but i kinda filled the nest box wiht newspaper, and so she has the newspaper everywhere and the egg in the corner of the nest box. lol
i have one crazy hen
well the good thing is, my other hen is gonna lay soon, she keeps pacing around her coop, squating and then getting back up, looking for a place to lay, but is it normal for the hen that had her egg squished to sit in the spot where she layed it i guess thinking that its still there?
