You consider yourself lucky if there is soap to wash your hands with. This place didn't have any. But there was an outdoor spigot.

To flush the toilet you scooped out water from the bucket to the right side of the hole in the floor. At least it was a tiled ceramic hole in the floor!

These were cows from a local herd that were wandering around near the 5 star toilet.

Welcome back @DobieLover and thank you for sharing so many beautiful photos. The essential facility is definitively not senior friendly, and I love the view from the high top. I will never get to see it as I have passed the physical stage where climbing as such is mission impossible.

When I visited Viet Nam, we were in the city so the essential facility were in the shopping centre and the hotel are just like over here.

Good Morning,
2nd coffee is ready, instant of course if you fancy. We got lot of sunshine yesterday, strong wind, and blue sky. I hope for the same today and less wind so that I can continue clean up the garden.

Last night after all my work was done, I sat down with my nice cup of tea starting to enjoy the evening, I switched on the tv to see what movies are there...and good lord....breaking news and breaking news.

I watched Gardening Australia and now I want to gardening my whole garden.

C did not let the birds out of the run at all during my absence regardless if the weather was appropriate for it. I released them yesterday morning and they came pouring out to scratch around in the large exposed grassy areas. I found Dani leaning up against the front of the coop later in the day basking in the afternoon sun. First one she's had in a long time.

That reprieve seemed to be enough of a positive change to snap Adrian out of her motherly instincts and she roosted herself last night.

At least you had handrails when you really needed them on that "hike."
I slept in late because I got to bed "early" after going out to dinner to celebrate DS$'s berth to the college wresting Nationals in 2 weeks.

While visiting Australia, I entered a bathroom where the urinal was a stainless steel sheet with a grate covered gutter on the bottom. Not accustomed to such a system, I stood too close to the wall and urinated all over my feet ; hence, the query about the shoe cleaners.
