Im a new egg this is probably a very dumb question & I am not sure the answer? PLZ HELP :)

The duration time for hatching eggs is 21 correct ? Ok then does the first day you put them into the incubator count as one day.... Or is it the next following day the first ?

if I set them at 11 am Monday, then at 11 am Tuesday I would say that's my first day

No problem, It will also very by temperature, it's not an exact science-

I count from hour 0 to hour 24 as day one.

I have hatched many times and STILL can't get this count right!!!!!

No stupid questions. This is often asked and like I said, I still am not sure how to count. SO I usually set at midnight.For my own hatches, I wing it. And this current hatch, I have other members of the hatchalong counting for me and they are posting wrong info too.

THen the next person corrects it.

So once you get the right info and calc the hatch date then if the temps are up or down the hatch is early or late anyway.

It's ok to be a little off.
