This is my first post here but I have been wanting to get some chicks for quite some time and have been hanging out and lurking around here lately learning. Today, I talked with a lady who has some chicks for sale that are only about 20 miles from my home! She has a policy to keep them til they're at least a week old, so on Friday, I will get my new babies. There are 7 in all: 2 Americauna, 3 maran, 2 game links. The game links are a couple weeks older now. But they are so close in age she believes that they will be fine to stay together like they are at the present.
Anyway, I am so excited. I called her about Buff Orpingtons, but they were all gone. So I still want a few of those. I don't even have coop done yet, but since these are so young, I have a little bit to get it done... well, to get hubby to do it...
