In the Brooder
I am new to this whole backyard chicken thing. I have had my tiny flock (only have 3 so far) just under a year now.
I think their breeds are: Barred Rock, Plymouth Rock, Golden Sex Link (but not 100% positive).
My favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens are NOT having to pay for organic eggs ever again, watching them (it's calming to me for some reason), and I am going to start clicker training them soon; so that should be a blast! (So far, they come to me when I call for them... but I haven't come up with a list of things I want to train them to do yet.)
I've been married for 28 years, we have 3 daughters. I've homeschooled them all (still homeschooling two of them). I work from home. I help small businesses, & entrepreneurs get more leads, close more sales, and increase their retention rates exponentially.
I found BYC on Google (of course). Every time I turn around, I've got a question about these fluff butts that I just don't know the answer to. Sure enough, BYC threads pop up all over and my questions get answered.
Thanks for having me here, I am looking forward to learning from all of you pros!
