Thank you. I will try that, I'm trying to get her to get use to my voice also so maybe that will help.

Good luck, it doesn't take them too long to learn. Just be consistent, keep everything in its exact place and she will learn to function fairly well. Free range with her too!

Hello, sorry your hen was injured. She might feel more comfortable in a smaller confined place. You'll have to direct her where to her food and water are, maybe several times, so she can find it by herself...be sure it's always in the same place.

Welcome to BYC. I think your hen will do fine. If it can be said, a lot of animals seem to have compassion. I recall many years ago, someone with a blind Cocker Spaniel. Another house dog would grab her ear and lead her around to food/ water- and stay with her to provide support.
