Oh man yeah, these Hinnies are like freaking roadrunners.Too fast for him eh?I just received 4 female Runner ducklings in the mail yesterday since my Muscovy blessed me with 2Runner drakes 3 months ago which gives me 3 boys and 14 females. My Muscovy drake has his own girls and never messes with the Runners and Buffs.
Ha ha. They are care adorable. I see the duck math is increasing!! Do you have a new duck house?Born 08/21/2023

It's been okay with them being around each other. At the beginning when they were real tiny I wouldn't even dare. But it's funny to watch Storm and Harley challenged the adults. That's when Mama has to step in and let them know that's not such a great idea LOL. So far one of the Hinny drakes has thrown his neck over Harley to show dominance and Daisy has forever continued to charge them. Daffy really is my concern cuz she gets real sneaky and tries to get really close to them and once she's close enough she lashes out so I watch her like a hawk. Which surprises me considering I figured she'd take on a motherly roll when she showed interest in them when they first got here.Hand-raised is the best if you want to keep them friendly. I love having these little things inside too. Are the adults pretty good with them?
Thank youCongratulations
They are adorable
I have a blue Swedish I named stormy ( she is now 16 months old
Not yet, still in progress. The run was built to hold 6 ducks with plenty of room to spare so, with 8 in total now, it comes to 16 sq ft per adult once the littles grow up. For now though, once the little girls get too big to be in the house (or when hubby has had enough) then they will go out into Daffy and Daisy's original house/run until they are big enough to be in with the adults in the main house/run.Ha ha. They are care adorable. I see the duck math is increasing!! Do you have a new duck house?
