Im a rookie please advice

My baby chicks are inside wooden box outside with a red heat lamp
Todays temperature will be 75-82

Do i keep the lamp on if not when do i turn it off my chicks are 2 weeks and older

You might try to replace heat bulb with a 150 watt bulb. A lot depends on how much or any your chicks have feathered out. Also if you change bulbs or reduce heat observe your chicks if they are spread out in the brooder they are fine if they are huddled they need heat you can adjust accordingly. Hope this helps.
