Unless you want to produce offspring from more than one breed, just get one drake, even if you get 9 ducks. Two drakes are likely to harass each other in the breeding season and unless you have a very big pen you may need to split them into two groups. It will be easier to manage them with one drake only and the whole group will be more harmonious.
