I designed and built a chicken tractor today. I will have photos tomorrow. Its now snowing and we wont be using it soon but it was my weekend project and I wanted it finished. I am so excited.

It's those plastic white pipes in Home Depot. They make excellent coop runs, easy to work with (remember Tinker Toys?) and cheap. I made my chicken run out of it too, hoop style.

My wife hates when I get technical but PVC =Polyvinyl chloride.

Or white pipe from Home Depot.

Oh OK. I knew what PVC was but the OP called it PCV. I figured it must have been something different.

ohh, i hope pics will come. i can do pvc & i would like to build a tractor - i'm too uneasy about free-range, but i would love to give them new pickins from time to time.
